How Cynergy handles account information, company records, browser storage, and requests about your personal data.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

About this policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you visit Cynergy, create an account, or use a company workspace. Your organization decides which business records to enter and which people may access them. Cynergy provides the platform used to store and work with those records.

If your company invited you to a workspace, its own privacy policies may also apply to the information it collects about you, its customers, and its suppliers.

Information we process

The information processed depends on the applications and features you use.

  • Account information, including your name, email address, company membership, permissions, and securely hashed password.
  • Company details, invitations, application licenses, subscriptions, and billing records.
  • Business records entered into licensed applications, such as customer and supplier contacts, products, sales, inventory movements, and uploaded files.
  • Activity and security records, including recorded actions, timestamps, and, where applicable, IP addresses and browser information.

How information is used

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, provide company workspaces and applications, enforce permissions and plan limits, send account and invitation messages, and generate the records and reports you request.

Activity and audit information supports transaction history, security, administration, troubleshooting, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. We ask you to provide only information needed for your business use of the service.

Access and service providers

Company owners and authorized members can access workspace information according to their permissions. Authorized platform administrators may access account or workspace information for platform administration and support. Administrator impersonation sessions and important POS changes are recorded in audit logs.

Hosting and email delivery providers process information needed to operate those services. Exports and shared documents are controlled by the person who creates or distributes them. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.

Browser storage

Cynergy uses local browser storage to remember your sign-in token, account information, theme preference, and interface settings. Temporary session storage is also used for administrator impersonation. The current client does not include advertising trackers.

Signing out clears stored sign-in information. You can clear site data through your browser settings, which may sign you out and reset preferences. On a shared device, sign out when you finish using the workspace.

Retention and security

Account and workspace records are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve transaction and audit history, and meet applicable obligations. Archiving a record can remove it from active lists while preserving its history. Removing access or signing out does not automatically erase company records.

The platform uses account authentication, hashed passwords, company scoping, and role permissions to protect information. Keep credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access. Contact us to discuss a retention or deletion request; some records may need to remain for legal or operational reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can update available personal account details in Profile. Your workspace owner can help with membership and information held in your company’s records.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled. Some requests may be limited by legal recordkeeping requirements or the rights of others.

Privacy requests and updates

For a privacy question or request, email our public contact with your company name and the type of request. Do not send your password or unnecessary sensitive information.

This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
